The Fraser Valley Naturists have really outdone themselves by sprucing up Norrish Creek’s grounds. You’ll find a cozy fire pit, inviting campsites, and well-maintained trails weaving through the area, leading down to the river. Depending on the season, the walk to the water might vary, offering a secluded retreat that’s not too far off the beaten path.

Norrish Creek stands out as a well-known clothing-optional spot, recognized and respected even by the local police. It’s a popular choice not just for individual visitors but also for families and groups, making it a lively spot. On our first visit, we noticed quite a few clothed visitors, which kept me in my bikini bottoms for a while. However, as we ventured closer to the campsites, the clothing-optional vibe felt more natural.
It took us a few tries and some insider tips from our Naturist buddies to really find Norrish Creek. Parking’s a breeze at the end of Hawkins Pickle Road in Mission, BC. Though you might be tempted to settle down by the scenic river near the big yellow gate, the best spots are a bit further in, where it’s less crowded and truly clothing-optional.
To get there, cross the river using the bridge, then head north past the train tracks. Follow the well-marked trail for about 400-500 meters, and you’ll find a charming, handmade path with stones on either side, leading you right into the heart of the clothing-optional area. Keep an eye out for the creatively painted rocks and a welcoming log that signal you’ve arrived at the right spot.

Getting There
Parking is easy, it is at the end of Hawkins Pickle Road in Mission, BC. There is a big yellow gate that you walk past, and might be tempted to pick a scenic spot on the river there – and you could – but it gets busy and isn’t clothing optional. Make sure you use the bridge to cross the river, then head north, crossing the train tracks. There is a well marked trail, and for about 400-500 meters keep walking. You will eventually come across a hand made trail with stones on either side guiding you into the clothing optional area. You will see some beautifully painted rocks with C.O. and a painted log welcoming naturists. You are here.

Every time I have visited Norrish Creek I have found the regulars to be extremely friendly and inviting. After crossing the bridge and then crossing the train tracks and a short walk up the trail on the East side of the river it was extremely easy to find the clothing optional area. Once at the clothing optional area there are many spots to relax and if you want more privacy just walk up the creek and you will find multiple private spots to relax in the nude.
