Getting There
Domaine de la Gagère is situated in the picturesque southern Morvan hills of the Burgundy region in France, nestled between the historic towns of Autun and Luzy. The campsite is part of the Parc Naturel Régional du Morvan, a stunning area known for its rolling hills, extensive woods, and serene lakes, offering a peaceful retreat rich in natural beauty and cultural history.
By Car:
- From Paris: The campsite is about a 3.5-hour drive from Paris. Take the A6 motorway south towards Lyon, then exit towards Autun and follow the signs to Luzy. From Luzy, follow the local signs to Domaine de la Gagère.
- From Lyon: It’s about a 2-hour drive from Lyon. Take the A6 motorway north towards Paris, then exit towards Chalon-sur-Saône, and follow the signs to Autun and Luzy. From Luzy, follow the local signs to Domaine de la Gagère.
By Train:
- From Paris: Take a train from Paris Gare de Lyon to Le Creusot TGV, which is about 1.5 hours. From Le Creusot, you can rent a car or take a local train to Autun, then a taxi or local bus to Luzy, and finally a short taxi ride to Domaine de la Gagère.
- From Lyon: Take a train from Lyon Part-Dieu to Le Creusot TGV, then follow the same route as from Paris.
Once you arrive in the region, follow the scenic lanes winding through meadows, woods, and streams to reach Domaine de la Gagère, where a warm welcome and stunning natural beauty await you.
